Takuya Fukushima TAKUYA FUKUSHIMA
Date of birth: 1972/9/19

In his student days of Nagoya-University, he started his career of film director.
In October of 1996, he made a film maker team “P-kraft”.
In 1999, “JAM” got Jury Award at Mito-short film festival. He also did a leading act in this film.
After that, he made his first feature film called “PRISM”.
“PRISM” made a correcting record at independent theater Cinema-Shimokitazawa in 2001.
Next year, this movie was screened at Seoul Quia film festival. “PRISM” was highly regarded as “a milestone of the independent”.
In 2003, short film “Freedom” hit the screen in Tokyo, and also invited by Thai short film and video festival.
In 2004, his film “the point(2,8,16)” was also screened in the same festival.
In 2006, “CROSS THE LENS” and his 5 other movies were shown at theater Porepore-Higashinakano. He was highly regarded by media as a key person of the new generation in the field.
In 2007, he joined the project called “over8” presented by several movie directors.
His movie “days of” was also screened in the event. He also joined the next series “Naked over8” as an asociate producer.
In 2008, he took part in the third series “Girl-Girl over8” as an executive producer. It was shown at Cinemart-Roppongi in March, 2009.
In 2009, after an interval of 8 years, his feature film “OUR BRIEF ETERNITY” is coming up in the fall.
In addition to his achievement as a film director, he is highly regarded as an actor. He has acted in a lot of films and built up his actor career. He was the leading actor in the film “Lost In Tokyo” which was screened at Vancouver International Film Festival in 2006.
